(a bit late) but my honest thoughts on what needs to happen to fix overwatch 2: remove dps passive. it was an interesting concept, it worked for a bit, but god it just makes tank miserable, dies way too quick and cannot threaten, not kill, THREATEN anything without dps support. the dps passive was meant to keep supports in line, but what it ended up doing was keeping tank, a role already kind of miserable even MORE miserable...and not even fixing supports issues. actually...lets keep it, but instead, give it a additional function that will save the tank role imo, dps also converts ~10% of damage to healing on their tank in a inspire-radius. basically remove some of the stress of tank and support, and distribute it to your dps without impacting how they want to play. your dps will now help keep their tank alive, allowing the tank to assist with plays, but the dps passive will keep this power in check, meaning tanks wont become unkillable gods, but will be able to actually have a presence in fights. supports will no longer be forced to pump healing into the tank to keep them alive, tanks will be able to move up with their dps to help, and tanks will still feel manageable because they still crumble to the dps passive.

every game i get into with a rein they are like this, its why im hardstuck, i HATE rein so much dude every rein main i meet is egotistical and never swaps bc theyre being countered and they end up going like 3-10

I swear widow is the most unoriginal and boring character like you have all these cool concepts and characters and the. Just “sniper” and nothing special it could’ve at least been a rail cannon but no it’s just a “sniper”

To be fair, teams can manage without a dps or a healer but a tank is necessary to play the game at all so blizzard making the role miserable is a mystery to me

I didn't know Reaper had 300 health until I pinned one with Reinhardt and he just wraithed away with his 25 health, I had to look it up. I still don't have an explanation for the Lucio that lived through a pin though. I think he had a Lifeweaver on his team but he didn't get pulled and I don't see why Lifeweaver's healing would cut through 275 instant damage.

Didn't read any patch notes so I had no idea what was changing but I picked Cass in a game. My first nade I threw was in the middle of a fight so I wasn't sure what happened but I was like "Wait, what was that?" Then I threw the second one and was like "Was that a FLASHBANG? Did they change his nade back?" I wrote in chat "That's not the zippy nade..."

The only stats I actually want added are damage taken and healing received. And maybe if damage was displayed in a slash format e.g. (3742/4867) with the left value being damage on non-tanks and the right value being damage on tanks. Mitigation should be removed IMO.

Yeah this guy picked a game where his overextending works and he's lucky his team it following him too, but this is the worst type of Tank player to play with because they will also overextend like this when it's not working and they just die endlessly before the fight even starts.

Banwaves have nothing to do with manually reported cheaters. You are like in top 10 ow streamers, cheaters in your games should get manually banned by actual people to save game's image. Month is just ridiculous

Suggestions: User interface: why cant we have customizable ui. I would love to move the hp bar to that spot between the crossairs and the ult charge meter. Having to glance to the corners for vital information mid fight is unpleasant. Communication: why can we only have 3 avoids that only last one week. We need significantly more, and permanent ones too. Kiriko: why not give her kunai some damage fall off. This would be something to adjust her overall power without having to sacrifice how well her kit works. Reaper: how about firing a slug for his secondary fire. It could do 70-85% as much as a full spread of his normal shot, but with a single accurate projectile. This would positively reward good aim via the headshots and give him a tool to deal with things that are outside of his normal attack range. Mercy: is there any way we can have the self heal when healing allies with her cadeus staff fixed. Her movement is ok, it's her self sustain that needs work. Soldier 76: why can't we have the fire & reload while running. I know it was just an April fools thing, but it was the smoothest he has played, ever. Pharah: will you please give us the jet dive back. In tandem with the recent movement rework she received that ability made her so much more fun to play. Reinhardt: can we please get the speed boost on sheild shatter. The counterwatch (I think) version of Reinhardt sheild break is fantastic.

I guess this is as good of a place as any to voice this, but oh man is toxicity just the normal now. I used to play this game religiously for about a year, I was still in school and it was a fun way to destress (i guess maybe not destress, but a fun way to hang with friends). I stopped playing as much in season 9 and then i played once over season 10. I graduated, started working and picking up other games, and would just watch others play it (you, flats and fogger are my go-tos). At one point i decided to pick it back up to play the new hero, and I made it five games. FIVE. Every single game (of QP mind you) was just people shitting on me learning a new character or someone else. I logged off and went back to playing BG3. A couple weeks later I had a friend hop on who I hadn't seen in awhile, played a couple of matches to warm up bc he is much better than I am, and every single one of those games, it was the people that made me want to get off. I can understand being frustrated at the metas, CC abilities, what feels like the lack of care is being put into the game right now especially after that s11 battlepass, but I don't understand why this game of all games has drawn the toxic players. I'll admit, I was able to have a high of plat back when I first started playing, now i run low silver/high gold and can't climb, im pretty washed lol. I have a high tolerance for this kinda stuff, as I just turn my music up and try to ignore stuff (I honestly should just turn off chat), but I am in the ranks that new players would start in, and that's a pretty shit way for someone to come into OW. oddly enough when I was playing in the diamond lobbies with my friend, they were all pretty chill and supportive. So it makes me think its low elo/new players that have showed up and brought this weird toxicity to that makes me wish the days when people would all march behind a torb using that fun emote, or enjoy 1v1s again in QP, or honestly just have fun. Makes me think if enough people stopped playing for a bit, they would work to improve the game more, and we'd all find happiness again lol. Anyway that's my rant and keep doing the lords work for the people like me who just can't play it anymore 🥲

Illari player with 100 hours here to comment on her changes; absolutely awful changes. If their one rule about it illari it’s DONT BUFF THE PYLON. It’s annoying for everyone and offers no skill expression. I thought she was totally fine before this patch with her recent changes in previous patches. I would like to see the whole thing reverted other than the outburst damage increase. If they really wanna buff her bring her beam back up to 120 hps or make the pylon a smaller target

If I ever play dps it is not a walk in the park at all. (I have the aim of a blind child with their eyes closed)

why in the hell would they buff soj ? that does not make any sense

I find the is a hero a crutch thing stupid. What is a crutch? Its a device that lets people walk when they have some aort of mobility issue. Of course some heroes have low skill floors. If learning any hero was as difficult as gengi, doom, and moira than there would be so much less players. Some people actually wnjoy playing the "low skill crutches" because they are fun to play.

Chat is like a bunch of children. They have no clue how any of this will affect the game they just react dramatically to whatever Emongg might like or dislike.

Literally read the first nerf for Sojourn and thought wow finally much needed! Then looked under it and was so disappointed

@11:28 I understand what this person is experiencing. I'm not sure how true this is number wise. However, if you have a main role and try to climb in that role, the amount of ranks you gain when winning FEELS significantly less than winning the same amount on a different role. I'm a support main but climbed significantly faster and more smoothly on tank than support and move through ranks faster with less games played.
